I was on www.autoclubspeedway.com in the auto club dragway section under "Calendar of Events" and saw on June 13, 2009 IDRC is having an one day event at California Speedway. Has anyone heard anything???

be nice to see IDRC host a couple events this year.. i hope its true, its on there but there is no times or other information. it says IDRC on September 5th also?

November 7 & 8, 2009 North -vs- South Import event.@ Famosa Raceway Bakersfield

 

BOTI-July 11th at Bakersfield has been CANCELLED........might wanna take that off the list.

And the north vs south event was rumored to be cancelled also, im still trying to get a confirmation on that though......

 

Theres CMI races in Sac to all support is needed.

 

Last I hear Frank was working on Bakerfield.... maybe he can make something happen.

north vs south event is still up on FAMOSA web site... hopefully it's only a rumor...

 

Is there anyone here that can confirm this events date?

Im sure alot of people would like to know ahead of time to finish there cars and race in
this event.

 

Idrc should come to the east coast for 1-2 events

On the west coast it is...

On the east its popping......

 

alot of people still come out to CMI and Bakersfield. Its just alot of Socal people dont travel outside past Magic Mtn to go racing.

 

Theres a track up there after the grapevine?



Yeah i remember Bakersfield like 3 years ago had a decent crowd and so did sactown that year. But i recall bakersfeild back in 04 was WAY bigger then those events.

But recently the tracks are wishy washy with the import crowd it seems, i guess because of turn out?

Barona had some kind of mini import series down here in San Diego, but i guess thats over with now...

 

Back then there was also about 1 event a month down here!

Now look! CMI is probably the only event that try's to hold a event almost every month.

There are plenty of cars out here in socal just not enough tracks or events.

Maybe some advertising wouldnt help, before for famoso event or fontana events you would see all the flyers at shop's and parts store's but now look, nothing!

isn't there a guy on here who works for IDRC? cant remember his name but if someone does know him politely ask him to shed some info on this event!
