what do u guys think of tint? Im thinkin about doin Llumar 28% with a 5 or 6" tint strip across the windshield of my Electron blue lude. Is it worth the $180 in your opinions (lifetime warranty)

 

180 is good with alifetime warrenty, id do it, but im not much into tint. i spent my $$ on an fmax kit.

 

I have 15% Llumar tint on my NBP 5G. I also paid $180 and have a lifetime warranty. It came out looking great, cuz I like a dark tint, but not blacked out. A friend of mine has the same tint, but at 20% on his accord v6 and it looks good too. Here's a pic if ya wanna see:

i have tint on my lude its 20% on the side windows and rear windshield. And 32% on the driver and passenger windows. It looks good and keeps the car kool etc. BUT cops hate it, i have gotten pulled over three times. and at night espically when it is raining it is hard to see out of... Mine was $230 all five windows lifetime warranty.

 

I got 5% tint, its great.

 

I have stock tint and it's the best 180 sounds good to me though...My lude used to have 25% tint, but I had removed when I purchased the car---to each their own

 

Windshield strips are for stunnas. Are you a stunna? If not, reconsider; unless you happen to road-race.

and 5% is just too much. I used to tint cars 10 years ago and 5% is just asking for trouble, in more than one way.

 

I want to get tint done on my black '98 Lude. My friend got ~15% on his Teg, all around and it looks fantastic. i think he paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $125 for it.

 

I spent 125 for Solargaurd for 5 windows around Orange County, CA.
