just lowered car 2 inches wheel alignment question
ok i went to midus they said i need a camber kit i asked this question before on honda tech and i thought it wasnt nessesary. he said he can only adjust the toe? not camber?
Yes, when you lower your car your camber will negative. The best solution is to buy an Ingals camber kit. or you can buy an adjustable upper A arm. Go to Summitracing.com and find a 0 - 3 degree camber kit.

i lowered my car 2" on omnipower full coilovers like 3 years ago and ive never had to get a camber kit. been driving ever since and wear on the tires are normal.
i say drive around for a while and see if you notice any irregular wear. i was like you and worried about wear too but it just never happened.

Places like that will always tell you that you need a camber kit because they think something's wrong if they can't set it to factory specs. Like stated before, you'll be fine just correct the toe.

ok really you gotta 50-50 chance of eatin tires. when i did a two inch drop on my old hatch i had to get a kamber kit, but when i slammed my CR-X it had no uneven wear without a kamber kit so just be aware and dont run out and a kit until you know you need one
camber is not adjustable on our cars from the factory. you will wear tires depending on how negative your camber is with the drop. need to see the alignment readouts to know this. the more negative it is the more you will wear tires. the more in spec it is the more you wont wear tires it's that simple. i like my car to be in spec with all readings so i bought skunk 2 upper control arms and all my alignment readings for camber caster toe front and rear are perfect. no tire wear and the car is straight as an arrow and handles perfectly.
This has been covered at least 100 times before. Toe eats tires, not camber. People drive around with upwards of 4 degrees of negative camber and after thousands of miles the wear will be slightly uneven, but not enough to pose a problem. That being said. Fix the toe and enjoy the long life of your tires. Camber kit is not necessary at all.
i am running camber kits front and rear with 5.7 deg of camber. and my car is pretty much slammed for my rim setup. you will be fine with just the toe set. i would get camberkits if i were u, lets u have more control over your ride, appearance wise.
U need a camber kit even though u cant see it with your eyes its there my DA is lowered on skunk 2 coilover on kyb shocks i lowered it about 2inches i have camber but u cant really see but my tires eat off a little uneven but i say get a sk2 Camber kit
