Default Engine strut bar

I have a 95 LS and looking to buy an engine bay bar. I've heard this would improve handling and help to keep the chassis from twisting as much.

Which bar should i buy? I was thinking of the type R bar.
Has anyone installed the Type R bar on an LS?

Thanks

Do you have to use any powertools for the bolts, and screws?

And where is the 5 HP gain from?

No to the first question.

The 5hp is a joke, since those bars are commonly thought to do nothing other than get in the way of working on the engine.
Just like adding a Type-R sticker is worth 10hp. It isn't, but ricers seem to think it is...

Oh ok. Thats cool i guess.

I heard that people use either 18mm or 22mm bolts.

So all i need is the bar, bolts/screws, and socket wrench?

just buy your bar.. the holes r already in it nd the chasis where they mount too.... dont buy too small bolts or theyll move around n be gay buy the correct size... thats it

18mm and or 22mm are for different types of bars that usee diff holes/sizes.
