hey guys i got a 90 civic wagon rt4wd. the seat belt light is on in the dash and it doesnt stop beeping. also the sliding seat belts do not move back and fourth on the rails they are just stuck at the front. so my belts are useless. i was going to take it into to honda but im not sure if previous owner messed something up and make it so i end up payin 150 bones. so any help on how to make it at least stop beeping would be a great help.
im not to sure about wagons but...
in crxs if u take the cap off the rear view mirror there is a little speaker inside. just disconnect that and put the cap back together. problem solved.
ive had to do that with 2 out of 3 crxs. the indicators go hay-wire after a while.

That's correct. The actual seat belts, and belt buckles are warrantied for life, but beyond that, unless the vehicle itself is still under warranty, nothing else as far as any kind of restraint system is. Of course, for most of us, the factory warranty ran out a looooooooooooooong time ago.

This is some good information!! I'll be taking my car to the dealer on Monday!
Truth is, I've actually gotten pretty used to the beeping as long as the radio is on, but it bugs my girlfriend to no end! lol
