I hate this car sometimes. 91 hatch RENO NEVADA
Long story short, i've owned this car since 05, and MAYBE drove it a full 18 mos. I've had THE ABSOLUTE worst luck with this car.(if you want details I can pm you...) I hate working on it and sometimes hate looking at it. However, I still love it I guess.
The car won't start, and I'm clueless as to why, I've tried just about everything I can think of. I'm just posting this up to see if anyone would be interested in this, maybe to buy or I am also open to trades, let me know what you have.
Also, NO I WILL NOT PART THIS CAR OUT. I don't have the resources to do that and if i would, the car would probably be running.
Car
1991 honda civic dx hatchback. Vin can be provided to serious inquiries
About 184,xxx mi on the chassis. (replacement LX cluster reads 156,xxx)
Accident free to the best of my knowledge. (I'm guessing I'm third or fourth owner and a few years back I had ball joint blow out on me, ruining the original drivers fender.)
Clean cali title in my name and in my hand.
Exterior--I'd give 8/10.
EF6/7 Front end, painted except for hood. (was quoted around 75 to get it painted.)
Broken center taillight garnish. (hard to find replacements)
Cracked windshield.
Other little dings and dents, but for being almost 20 years old the paint and body are in great shape.
Interior--I'd give 8/10
SI front and rear seats. Front driver has normal bolster wear.
Some momo wheel I bought from summit like 4 years ago.
Mugen horn button.
Momo hub.
NRG quick release.
Hidden fuel pump cutoff switch.
SI clock.
LX cluster (wanna-be SI).
Engine--
Hmotors B16a swap from what I believe was an Integra XSI. (don't know the exact milage, but can't be very many cause I've never driven it.)
180-180-170-180 compression.
J1 cable tranny. (oh yes, fifth gear FTL)
Blox intake manifold
New timing belt/water pump/alt belt(less then 500 miles on them)
Brand new hondata I/M gasket
Brand new E/M gasket
Brand new T/B gasket
Golden Eagle cam seal
DC 4-1 Header (wrapped cause its bangged up like rihanna)
Brand new obd1 dizzy from dist. King.
AEM fuel rail.
Unorthodox single groove crank pulley
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
Brand new oil pan gasket
Fluidyne radiator
FAL thin fan
Brand new never driven optima red top battery in the trunk
Full obd1 conversion.
RyWire obd0-obd1 harness
Hondata EFDX-VTEC engine wiring harness (I believe THIS is why the car won't start)
Tucked battery/fuse box/headlight wiring
Chipped p06 (basic p30 conversion)
When it did run I always had mobil 1 syn 5w-30 with mobil 1 filter.
Suspension Brake--
Brand new never aligned skunk2 front camber kit
Brand new never driven innovative mounts front traction bar. NOT the crossmember-thing they had out, the actual traction bar.
DA front knuckle ***'s
Brand new front wheel bearings
Brand new Front lower ball joints
Brand new Gold *** outer tie rods.
ARP ext wheel studs in the front
Blox black lug nuts
Omnipower RLCA's
Suspension Technique's rear sway bar (the green one)
Earl's stainless steal brake lines all the way around
DA master cylinder and brake booster
40/40 prop valve
Rear DA brake conversion
Brand new rotors and pads all the way around
Brand new tires in the rear. Fronts are bald but still hold air.
There's probably more that I'm forgeting but whatever, you get the idea.
Again, just to be clear: Car won't start, I don't know why and im tired of trying to figure it out. NO I WILL NOT PART THIS CAR OUT. I don't have the resources to do that and if i would, the car would probably be running.
I'm asking 3000obo. I am also open to trades.
