Icon3 06-08 Sedan Trunk space question?

In the past, my 92 hatchback has done wonders in fitting and cramming things in there for its small size of a car.

However my question is, would a 06-08 hood fit in the trunk somehow in my sedan? has anyone tried? Im gonna be picking up a CF hood and I dont have a truck, so I was wondering if it would fit in the trunk LoL (of course the seats would go down and etc) but who knows?

Anyone know what can fit?

you talking about putting a 06-08 hood in the trunk of a 06-08 civic? if so, i'm sure it'll fit with the seats down. civics have tiny hoods and huge trunks.

I suppose it depends on the box it is in.

The hood itself would fit.

I had my CF hood fit in the back seat still in the box....or you could just fold the rear seats down. hood is small...

Is this vendor far away? If it doesn't fit, why don't you go pick it up sans oem hood, then install the cf once you get it? Just a thought.

i picked my hood for my front end conversion up in my car. i put a blanket down, put the hood in, put another blanket down and put both fenders in there too and layed the grill in the floorboard up front.

Civics have huge trunks?...Good thing, So I'll even be able to put a bigger turbo in the trunk next time I upgrade.

If you have any doubts then you should probably take out a tape measure...I'm no expert, but the CF hood is going to be the same size as your OEM hood....

Either that or just take your stock hood and test it out. Or you could do what I suggested in a previous post. Whatever you do, you're eventually going to have to remove the oem hood.

If it somehow doesn't fit in the car...you could put some rolled up towels on your roof to protect your paint, and tie it to the roof of your car. Hell I passed an FA5 on rt 80 a couple months ago with a mattress on the roof. It wasn't tied down and both the driver and passenger had an arm out the window holding onto it. Safety First!

or just take your hood off at home, drive and get the new one and put it on and drive home, only takes about 5 mins to install the hood latch and put the 4 bolts back on the arms..good luck whichever way you choose.
