Just got my ZC Dyno
It was HOT and HUMID in AL today!
92 degrees f
85% humidity
Stock ZC with PM7 ECU
At the Wheels:
Max Power 107.3 @ 6800rpm
Max Torque= 92.1 @ 5500 rpm
I wasn't really impressed, but all I have is a K&N drop in filter and a header. The torque curve is all over the place and HP starts dropping at 6900rpm.

Hmmm thats a 20% loss??? Pretty high loss if you ask me? My automatic IS300 dynoed 182rwhp stock. which was a 15% loss thru the Auto/RWD powertrain.
I find that 107 figure a bit low, despite the temp and humidity. Maybe some more ECU tuning on that ZC and you should be cool? also.... worn out sensors on the ZC may cause bad performance??
Good luck.... next time dyno on a cooler day and see how it turns out?

Honestly those Dyno #'s sound correct to me. I dynoed 135hp at 120ftlbs of tourque @6,500 with my ZC with a turbo at 5 pounds not intercooled. SOMEONE TUNE MY FREAKIN CAR!
you got something going on there...what ecu are you running?
I had two separate ZCs and the both dynoed within 2 whp at 118.6 and 119.8. The lower HP one had an Si ecu, the slightly higher one had a gude ECU. The extra power came from a higher rev limit. The 91 Si ecu was cutting out before the motor was hitting peak power.
Both were stock with boltons i/h/e.

thats kinda low.....
I dynoed my Civic EX automatic ZC at 104hp & 96tq with h/e and drop in filter
MY friend who has a CRX dynoed at 115 & 98tq with h/e and stock airbox

doesnt sound like too bad of numbers...isnt a basic rule of thumb to add 20 hp or so to the whp? So that would make it 127 hp to the flywheel....but you did say you have a headr and a K&N filter.....hmmm...

Try using the stock exhaust manifold. By using a DC or other for the SI the exhaust ports don't match the header. You can either port to match or find a ZC specific header. Then do a compression test.
Yeah, portmatching helps, but it's not gonna make much of a difference at all.
If you ask me, those numbers are low. Even with the hot and humid air!
A good ZC with I/H/E should get about 115-120 max hp to the wheels on the dyno.
(Si tranny, 88-89 teg ECU)
Also a compression test might tell you why your motor is running weak. Or maybe it's just because your timing is too retarded?

here is my dyno sheet

My zc with k&n drop in, genie header, stock ecu and a stock muffler made like 116hp and thats after 3 years of kicking its *** on the track.
check you comp and your timing

I'm not POSITIVE but I think the dyno corrects for temp and humidity...but I ain't sure though.

Look at the torque curve! Looks awful to me!
I'd say there are problems....
Depending on the ECU, the motor shouldn't be dropping off so much at the top. Compare to my ZC with I/H/E. I Realize different dynos produce differnet numbers, but compare the curves....
This link will die after about 2 views, so please don't view it unless you are cspu. If you're curious, it did 128whp and 108ft lbs or torque with a CF of 1.02.

My first guess would be that the cam timing is wrong. It looks like one of the cams is off by 1 tooth. If you're using the Si ECU, trade ift for an integra one now!! You feel a big difference. I'm fairly confident that something isn't right. I don't mean to be an ***, but the only other explanation is that you got a bad motor. The numbers are definately too low and the curve looks kind of bad.

I've got a PM7 ecu. I think I may try my Si ecu just to see. I think I may have a bad motor
it's been using too much oil for my liking!
I've got a warranty though, if the motor is bad I get a new one!!
It just sux that I'll have to be without my car.... again.
P.S. the link was already dead by the time I got to try it. you can email it to me, I'll IM you my address.
