http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ106662804

ok so i posted the link to kijiji where someone is selling a t3/t4 kit if your going to post make sure you read ever thing carfully i feel a little sceptical because of some of the things hes saying, so just wanted to hear from HT(the kit is in canadian dollars) .He also sent me an email saying

Hello,

I get it straight from the manufacturer. The company is XSpower but its there latest generation turbo kits. And the turbo is made from the turbonetics casting mold and uses the turbonetics berrings and seals. If your intrested and want to see the kit let me know.

I wouldnt buy it. Looks like too much money for a crappy turbo kit. You could piece together a turbo kit for less than that with good parts.

i heard you have to know exactly what your doing to peice together a kit. i might just want to go with a t3/t4 50 trim or sumthing but as for everything else im lost. " THIS TURBO KIT SALES FOR OVER 5,000 SOME TIMES OVER 6,000 I GOT A LINK WITH MANUFACTURE I SALE THEM FOR $2,888" this is the line that killed me is that even possible

He flat out said it was an XS Power kit. If you go into the Forced Induction forum and read the FAQ, you'll soon find out exactly what that name means...complete garbage. He's also adding on a pretty decent mark up...you can get that kit on Ebay for around $1k USD

I reported him on that site...

I provide a service in my home town, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I also provide technical support and advice and details that will save you lots of time and money on how to install the kit yourself, if you decide to do so.

Don't you know the first rule of business? Buy low, sell high. Do you think when you go to a store you're getting it at the same price they paid? I provide warranty and service and an actual location where people can come in and see the kit first hand, without dealing with hassles and risks associated with buying on eBay.This price is in Canadian dollars with the rate at 1.22 at the moment. I order them in bulk. If you order one off of eBay to Canada by the time you pay for the shipping fee, the customs and taxes, and the exchange rate you're only going to be saving a couple of hundred and then if anything does go wrong with the kit you have to pay for shipping again for a replacement part and wait for at least 2 weeks or more, which means your car is going to be out of commission for the whole time. As appose to, people can come to me and get a replacement part the same day. So if you are in the Toronto, ON area and want to buy the kit off the internet as appose to in person, nobody is stopping you, but just keep in mind the risks and hassles associated with it. And last time I checked people like to see and feel the item before they pay. I have one installed in a car that looks and works amazing with no problems that people can look at. So far I never had any complaints or exchanges yet. There is a trick on how to install the kit so you don't have a problem with the manifold breaking off. And your not told this when you buy it anywhere else. I sold dozens of the kits and told every person how to properly install it and they never had a problem. I have been selling them for around 2 years.

If you have any questions or doubts you can email me and if you want to speak in person, I will provide you with my number.

PS. It's the same company that makes these kits that you see on ebay but as any company and any product there is, varies level of quality. And the stuff they sell on ebay to a one time buyer is going to be a lot lower quality as appose to a distributor that buys them on a weekly basis.

Thanks,
Zack

This kit looks very similar to the one zach is "sale-ing" but it is only $790 shipped to anywhere outside the US.

xs power is junk! seen it first hand on many occasions, the maifolds crack and the turbos do not last. like mentioned above^^^ go to the forced induction forum or just search for xspower or ssac which are the same thing. the manifolds are made of cheap steel which do not hold up to the heat or the weight of the turbos, and the seals in the turbos go bad and i've also seen where the turbo completely comes apart. trust me, if you want to turbo your car just piece the kit together. i had no idea what i was doing and was able to do it... jsut get on here and read about it. its quite simple. there are many links in the faq in the forced induction forum that will explain what parts you need and how they work.. you can look at the parts list for a turbo kit and just get the parts you want... if you want to buy a kit, i would recommend the peakboost kit or full race... yeah its more money but as teh saying goes you get what you pay for.

if you want to piece it together just figure out what turbo you want, and wastegate. then you can call/email/pm any reputable manifold/downpipe fabrication shop and tell them the motor, chassis and turbo you are using and they can fabricate the manifold, downpipe, and dumptube so that they will work on your car.

this is my .02 hope it helps out!
