Thought this might interest some of you guys.
Unfortunately I don't happen to have $46K sitting around:

Most likely the owner was an enthusiast or collector who likes to take care of his vehicles and can afford to not drive it.
Low mileage, rare interior color...it's a collector car and when NSXs do become collectable, it'll be an excellent example. Provided the new owner doesn't drive it and maintains it.
that looks like northwest investment cars. they have a lot of very rare cars. i've seen a 1990 zr1 with 150 miles. a ferrari f40, porsche gt2, hemi cuda and many more at that place. they only deal with gem mint cars for the most part. rare stuff with history also makes its way in there. i would bet money that they took that car in from a car collector who for whatever reason wanted to switch it up.
copy pasted from their web site:
It is absolutely remarkable to see a car like this ! It is as if it were kept in a bubble since 1991 ! One owner, completely original, untouched ! Car has not yet had it's first polish ! This one truly is "in the wrapper", still has protective plastic in place from the factory when it was new. Owner of this car bought two of these to keep for his personal collection after being a test track driver for Honda and several other manufacturers. He has had this tucked away in a heated and air conditioned environment since new. Just came in, we are very excited to present such a stunning car and an amazing opportunity to own a very rare NSX.

+1. It's a waste of an NSX. IMO. The cost is'nt anything amazing, its 46k. If it was driven and had 25k or even 40k, it would'nt cost that much less.
Now if the price was 80k or 100k. Then I would see why you would'nt drive the car.
Which begs the question, will the NSX ever be collectible?
