Default thump noise

Recently I replaced alll my rotors with brembo blanks, and also some pbr ultimate ceramic pads. I noticed that when I'm rolling from a stop to about 5mph and brake [Usually like pulling out of my driveway and braking before I get onto the street], I hear a loud thump noise which is kinda hollow sounding that seems to be coming from my passanger side front wheel.

I took everything apart and checked maybe if one of the brake pads were loose or something, added more anti-squeal and everything looked fine. Tried it again and it still thumped. What could be the problem?

Did you bed in your brakes properly?

Check to see your rotors are properly seated.

If all checks out fine, look at suspension parts that might be worn out that had nothing to do with the brake service.

Yeah I bedded them in. Theres still slight squeaking when braking from high speeds, it seems like the thump got worse. I'll check again to see if the rotors are seated properly, I'm sure that they are because I screwed back in the 2 screws that most people usually throw out.

I'm starting to think it may have something to do with the upper control arms or maybe grease the lil slider pins.

Brakes usually wont make a thump sound. Unless the caliper or the caliper bracket is loose. I would really check the suspension arms and ball joints on that side. It might have just been time for that particular part to break or wear out.

Ive had this thumping noise in the past. I was driving and it was getting worse and worse and i had no clue what it was UNTIL i checked the caliper bracket bolts (17s). I guess i had forgot to torque them all the way down and they were coming loose little by little.

Yeah I'm sure the wheel is torqued correctly. It's strange because now the sound seems like it got more hollow, more distinct.

Yeah I'm thinking it's either that or the slider pin, because now that I think of it, last time I took apart the caliper, the whole slider pin came apart from the caliper assembly. That's normal right? lol. I'll have to check both tommorow.

If problem still persists, I'll just head over to the junkyard and pick up another caliper.

The slider pin should be bolted to the caliper bracket and should stay clipped in the rubber boot upon removal.

An unsecured caliper will usually not only make a thump noise. You should feel the effects when you apply the brakes....or maybe the bolts aren't that loose yet?
