Default Power steering question.. B18C1 into 98 hatch

I'm putting a gsr motor into a 98 civic hatchback. I was just going to use the integra power steering pump but the power steering hose from the civic where it bolts to the pump has a fitting that is too big to go in the hole of the integra pump. The civic pump won't work because it's totally different. What should I do???

you need a 99 2000 si pump (B16A) and it will mount up and work perfect.

No problems with the power steering hose? The reason I ask is because I ordered a reman pump and it looks like the hose bolts on totally differently. Unless I got the wrong pump. I've been trying to find a picture of one but I'm not coming up with much.

well i have a B18C in my 96 EJ8 and the hose wouldnt bolt on the pump. If i wanted power steering i would need to get a B16 pump. So i was just going from my own experience sorry i couldnt help. The hose from my civic fits on the B16 pump but not the B18 pump.

i have pictures of my motor but thats it... Im not running with P/S since it wouldnt mount to my B18 pump i didnt feel like finding a B16 pump, so i just left it off. It is only a civic coupe so its not heavy and not hard to drive at all without.

Ya, Well I've been searching and I'm pretty sure I just got the wrong pump when I ordered it. I'll try again.
Thanks man.
