Default I need some real help with my suspension

I want to raise my suspension so my kit doesn't scrap the ground. The Skunk 2 coilovers that I was going to get say that it doesn't raise suspension it only lowers so I'm sooo beat. Can some one tell me a way to raise my suspesion

So, you are saying you want to raise your car higher then stock so that your body kit won't scrape? Preludes that are stock height don't look very good...raised would NOT be cool...

It'll look fine becasue of the way the kit is. I need to raise it higher than stock. The only thing I can think of is bigger rims and tires to get it higher off ground.

It doesn't scrape it's just too low and I don't want it to scrape.

If all else fails I'm just gonna get 18's and raise it like that becasue that looks like my best bet right now.

What? I already explained this to you in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=254449

You can't raise your car by buying bigger rims, less you buy some ridiculously out of spec tire, and screw up your speedometer

Yo I have the JT Auto Style Evo 2 on my car. I didn't think it was gonna be that low but it is. I was thinking of getting the Coilovers like you said satan_srv but the problem is what coil overs let you raise it above stock? I don't know of any. Do you?My cuzin keeps telling me to get the Air-Ride suspension but I like to drive fast and I like the way the car handles. Sure AirBS looks cool but I don't really want to add weight to the car and I heard those things can Pop so that's another thing I don't want happening. There's gotta be a solution to this.

Not sure what gen Prelude you have, but you can try getting some GC's...

Then mate those with a set of Koni's. The Koni's have 3 different perch settings. Put the GC's on the highest one, then put the GC's on the highest setting. That should get you pretty damn high, if not higher than stock.

But let me ask you this. Your kit, is it just the front lip? Or is it the WHOLE thing that scrapes? One of the things that makes a car look nice is loosing the wheel gap. If your kit is insanely low, increasing that wheel gap will just look wrong.

Do you have a pic of your car btw I'm curious as to what kit you have on your car.

I'll have a pic for you in a few days. It's not a lip it's a whole front. It doesn't scrape the floor I just can't pull into drive ways and things like that. The streets around me are horrible. My car is a 5th gen and I'm not sure wat GC's are.

dont raise your car. my friend has the black widow kit on his accord, and he has it at factory height because of how big the kit is, and it's still not as low as my dropped RSX. just drive with it at stock height until you get the feel of taking bumps at an angle, etc. when you are comfortable, every week drop it down some. that's what i would do at least.

No matter how much of an angle I take it's still not enough for the bumps around here. You don't drive where I drive it's impossible to drive in at an angle and not scrape.

GC is short for Ground Controls. They're springs that come perched on a collar so that you can adjust the height of your ride.

Also, if its your front bumper that's scraping, what about your sides and rear? I can't imagine what a car would look like with fronts that low w/o sides and rear to match it. From the side, I figure it would look REALLY uneven!
