H23 with H22 Head
You're have to drill new oil lines, which will cause oil leaks in the future, and have time, money, and patience to do this type of work....I believe some people on this board have done it though
yes some people on this board have done it, and personally i think this swap is a waste of money for .1 L more of displacement. I could go on and on for days, to each his own. Its your money, you spend it how you want to and we'll help you to point you in the right direction, if you choose to follow that direction its totally up to you. If you want the 2.2 vtec head so badly, id recommend buying the whole h22a motor.
find a crap h22 block one all shot up.. and buy my h22 cams, cam gears, pistons and rods..
i ll sell them cheap but no lowballing.. just email me a price and ill ship them away

or you can just put the h23 crank and rods in a h22, much easier then getting the head and all the parts to work.

or just do what I did and get the the JDM H23vtec motor....
Gabe
I think your best bet would be to buy a tired beat up H22 block, and build from there.
What would be the advantage to using an H23 crank in an H22 block??? Is it stronger because the H23 relies more on bottow-end power VS. the H22 relying more on the Head???
