whats up everyone....my powersteering pump was very quiet and one day i noticed it was a tad low on fluid but no leaks anywhere on the ground so i bought some fluid that says it was made for honda but it was a generic brand i topped it off and a few weeks later that thing is so loud like its a supercharger i read your only supposed to put oem honda fluid after i did this lol did just a little bit of generic fluid do this or is my ps pump going out..it doesnt squeal when it turn just whines when idle and driving.and its still super easy to turn .i dont have time to drain & flush or put a new pump.....can i just take the belt off and drive it without ps or will i damage my rack and pinion. I can drive without ps for a few months im just wondering can i just drive without the belt on it witout damaging anything its driving me crazy i know people do gsr swaps without ps but do i change something out.

cool someone told me i will ruin my rack n pinion i guess ill go take that belt off tomorrow thanks
