Default Anybody heard of or tried the BWR Intake Manifold???

Hey came across this on ebay and was wondering if anybody has ever tried one or seen one in person. I wanted a Blox but they are on backorder, and am just trying to penny pinch a little bit. But may just end up going with the Skunk2 to be safe

looks to me like a Blox piece. Maybe BWR is Blox Wholesale Racing?

MY buddy just bought one for his GSR. Fitment is just as good as a blox I would say. Did not have to drill out the bolt holes but when I matched up the gasket it was a tiny bit off. Got it for $155 shipped

Kinda looks like a decent piece. Would he recommend it as a good replacement for the backordered blox?

correct, I am alomst without a doubt positive that 99% of these manifolds, headers, throttle bodies, coilovers are all made by 1 manufacturer and marketed to whomever wants thier name on it.

Do you know what it would actually cost to setup a run of cast manifolds, thousands of dollars, especially if you had to have the mold made for your specific manifold only, just like wheels, there are only so many companies that actually make wheels people just add their own sticker and call it their product.

Im sure these are no different than blox, OBX, SS Autocrome, etc.

For what its worth, HONDA sold the casting molds for their B series trannies last year so im sure we will be seeing knock off trannys soon for hella cheap
