I have a newly built b16a with Skunk2 Intake manifold and pro 1+ cams. When i start it the idle goes to about 3k then settles at 1k after a couple seconds. After a couple of minutes it start dipping like its about to die, but its does shut off. It just keeps dipping up and down between 1k. Could this have anything to to with my intake manifold. what can I check?

 

I just put on a skunk2 manifold on my b16 and it kinda has the same prob but my doesnt wanna idle. And when i hit the gas it kinda sounds like i have a 2 syep set like at 1k rpm idk its weird?

 

has it been tuned and degreed?

was that for me??? i have the b16a just with a skunk2 manifold and now i turn it on and it wont idle it just turns off unless i give it gas. And when i give it gas it kinda sounds like a 2 step then revs up?

Im also kinda new to this stuff so if ucould give me some tips thatd be cool.

 

ive had a stock b16 before with no mods except for CAI and i had an issue like that, found out later the hard way...it was the fuel pump

you probably have the engine harness hooked up wrong on the manifold

probably got the map sensor and iavc sensor plug mixed up
