On our very first race with our new race car equipped with B16A2 we blow one of the exhaust valves and lost compression from one cylinder.
=> we need to do cylinder head / valvetrain update. We have not yet had time to completely dissasembly the head so there might be something else wrong also.

Which parts would you recomend? They should not be the most expensive ones! But the price / quality ratio should be good. I would like to point out that this is a race car and race engine => we do not need to take care of emissions etc... But on the other hand engine is used on class where races last 6 - 24h so the reliability is much better aspect than the 2 hp powergain. Still all reliable and reasonable cheap hps should be collected.

So far we were thinking:

- keep the stock cams (possibly at some point update them to Skunk2 Pro1)
- Keep stock springs / retainers
- Skunk2 - valves. (would there be bettr options??) Price of the skunk2 set is quite good.
- Cometic Gasket head set

Especially to valves, springs and retainers. Is there other good options in reasoable good prices. I have read something about the Ferrea valvetrain components, but I do not have anything concrete.

Please advice if you have experience of the matter.
