axles for sure. does your car shake when you are getting up to speed? or to a certain speed?

clicking noises most associate with cv joints gone bad. either rebuild cv's w/ boot kits the dealership sells or buy new axles

Or get axles from a parts store, most of them carry lifetime warrantys.

yup, CV(one or more) are bad. heres a rundown of whats going on.

since for the most part we drive in pretty straight lines, especially when getting on it, that means the bearings in the CVs ride against pretty much the same spot most of the time. this wears down and you get a valley in the CV. now you go to turn and the bearings are going across that valley, making the clicking noise.

to isolate which one(or possibly more) is bad.

to isolate inner from outer: drive slow in a parking lot and make tight turns, but go slow enough so the car doesnt lean much. if the clicking is there then its the outer CV.

if its not there but it is when the car leans in a turn then its the inner CVs.

isolating right from left is easy on the outer ones. louder left or right?

the inner ones are going to be a lil more difficult in that area since they are right next to each other.

when lowering a car, the cv joints starts to misalign to a certain point. it might have been slammed to a point where the stess of the misaligned joints just f**ked it up. sometimes it happens. but there's no other place i can think of that describes your clicking sound while driving. thats a common annoyance when dealing with bad cv joints. that is your problem

yes if you hear clicking noises while making a turn your cv joints are bad. i always reccommend swapping out the axle since it's a lot easier and you don't have to seperate the joint or deal with the boot.

I'm having the same exact problem with my hatch, I changed out both axles and still makes the noise that you've described. Everyone I've talked to is saying it's either the transaxle or my LSD gears locked up.

you can either buy cv joint or whole new axle.

just get both cv joints. your better off replacing both than just one. if you feel that its needed just get the whole half shaft for both sides
