ok i got a 93 civic vx hatchback and i was wondering if there is a plug in the rear panel for the speaker?
im a little too busy to take it apart... so if anyone knows itll be great thank you

 

no plug. im going to honda tomorrow to buy rear speaker brackets that were available on the si then run wires to my deck

 

there should be rear speaker wiring alread in the car. pull off the plastic trim peice reach down into the well it should be taped down inside the fender these cars came radio delete but where wired for speakers

Correct, all 5th and 6th gen civics were prewired for rear speakers.

 

guess i got jipped when buying my car. no speaker wiring for the rears on mine so i gotta run the wires

 

I have a 94 Vx hatch and I would have to agree with Instructor74. I didn't think there were wires back there either, until I reached down into the well and found on each side the rear speaker wires wrapped in a bundle, tucked under the main harness. I also went to a nearby junk yard and luckily found a totalled 95 Si hatch that had the rear speaker mounts/brackets still on the car, along with the factory rear L&R panels with speaker cut-outs in it.
