ok guys i bought a new cat a months back after scraping it up the cat had a rattle well today i started it up no noise i went up the street and now my b18a felt like a d-series will the clooged cat or mid pipe harm my motor ?
My car had the SAMMMMME exact problem..
I thought it was the cat and come to find out it was the injector filters. It hit vtec and everything but ran like total *** and had 100% loss of power.

Hit the cat with a bat or something...If your cat is clog, this means that it is running to hot...then should only be reaching temps of 600 degree F. Anything more, and they pretty much melt, this can be caused by running too rich I believe...Sorry to say but your going to need another cat, but for right now bang the crap out of it...
