i wanted to get one, is this a bitch to put on, what is involved in getting the old on off and putting in the new one in, do you need hood pins?

 

is like plug and play...take off ur original hood and put on the cf hood. You might need to adjust your hood latch a little to close it

 

No need for hood pins, all you need to do is take off the bolts off the hood latch which is a 10mm socket I believe ...

Yeah I would definitely recommend hood pins. I didn't feel safe not having hood pins on mine since at highway speed the hood shook a little bit like it wanted to fly up. Also the metal latch is just bonded to fiberglass on virtually all CF hoods so it isn't that strong of a bond and probably gets weaker as time goes on with all the opening and closing as well as just the pressure of holding the hood down.
