LMAO!

How/where did you hear this??

The purpose of the ASR is for subframe REINFORCEMENT!!! It reinforces the subframe so that it DOESNT tear out when using a large rear sway bar!

Ive heard that too but thats only with the 33mm asr sway bar setup, the 22 and 24 should be fine. At least so far

Running too large of a swayar causes the tearout, the ASR brace eliminates the tearout.

ASR's 32mm hollow sway bar doesn't even mount to the subframe like a stock-style swaybar does. It mounts in a completely different location.

What do you consider "improvement"? On my EG, I have a perfect balance of oversteer/predictabily, but to another driver in my car they might hate it. Or another car with different springrates/struts/weight/supporting mods etc will react completely different. There are too many variables between human preference and setup/chasis to really say "This is perfect for what you need on your specific set up". Just take your time and do the reseach for similar cars with similar setups with similar reviews of what you're looking for and start from there.

I have both the ASR 24 mm rear sway bar and the sub frame brace on my 97 hatch and Love them. I think it is by far one of the best mods I have ever done to my car .Its a totally different ride with this mod lot more confidence in turns and overall handling .

I just put a ITR swaybar with ASR brace on my EM1 the other day and it IS a totally different car. it takes corners like a champ. my set-up isnt the best, i have stock lcas and Koni/omni with GC top hats. im upgrading to GC's this summer. your not going to feel a difference just cruising but when your flying somewhere and you rip around a corner you will see a HUGE difference.

One of the best mods besides forced induction...
ps if you dont have the tool or a lift, the stock endlinks are a b**ch

my old endlinks where rusted and i didn't have the tool so it was a real time getting them off, i just destroyed em because i wasn't going to use them ever again. if you replace your lca at same time then you wont really have to worry about this.

Here is a install link so you can see where very thing mounts up.
