Icon2 Reclearing a CF hood?

When I bought my car it had a CF hood on it, and after 2 years of owning my car the hood has faded bad and looks very poor. I'm in school and living in apartments so unfortunately my car does not sleep in a garage.

My question is would it be worth it to get my hood re-cleared or is it going to start looking bad after another year or so?

Re clear it, its very common with the gelcoats not doing to well against UV rays. Once recleared you shouldnt have a problem.

A good quality clear with UV protection will last a long time. A cheap one will fade just like the crappy clear that is on there now.

Uh oh, here it comes again!

Sand it with 600 grit to get the fade and stuff off, wet sand. Take it to a shop have them re-clear it with a good clear.
