Im going to buy 4 1999 civic si wheels and tires with probably 60% tread left, he is asking 200 for them. Is this a fair price?

 

what kind of wear to the wheels themselves have?

 

Sounds like a good price to me are the rims in good shape or do they have any curve rash . I just bought a set recently and paid 300 and I threw the tires away !

 

i haven't seen pictures of them yet,(i just got a price on them today), but if i remember correctly they dont have any damage, maybe a few scratches here and there.

 

i say grab them if theres no big bent/dent/scuff or damages. on craiglist, i see them for sale around 4 bills for good condition with decent wheels, 3 bills for decent condition but worn out tire.

 

yea the only thing is they are painted black, but that's easy to get off.

 

i think black si rims look nice...

yeah i guess. still look nice. i have EM1 but i dont really like the si rims. Running on donuts now until i have the money gonna get HX or Rota but trying not to make it so ricey

 

these will be going on my EH2, i think they will look pretty nice.

 

Buy them, strip them, and polish them.

2 bills is a deal if there in good condition minus being painted black.

 

not to take a different course in the thread here, but if you are talking about OEM HX wheels unless you plan on putting DX spindles, trailing arms, brakes, etc... on your SI then you can't run these wheels.

OP, $200 is a good price, i'd say grab them up even though IMHO putting SI wheels on civics that aren't 99-00 SI's is played out like atari.

 

i havent seen a lot of them on 92-95 civics, but i like how they look.

Will hx's fit over your em1 front brakes since they are 14''? I don't have a SI, so I am unsure of the size brakes up front.

 

What are Si wheels worth..well..simple answer, Too damn much lol

 

haha...i paid 80 dollars for one wheel alone....i say 200 for all 4 WITH tires isnt a bad price

 

300-400 in pretty good condition with tires. 200 is certainly a good deal.
