Whats your opinon on these coilovers??
I'm looking to buy coilovers for my DA and i need help deciding. I found numerous reviews on some of the products, but i have trouble finding them for others. Please vote and explain what you like and dislike about the product.
I'm mainly looking for daily driving with the occasional competition use. I want something that will slam my car if i wanted to, with a little bit of comfort in mind. As well as great performance.

I recently switched from koni yellows and H&R springs to Skunk2 Pro-C. After completing my first autocross event I couldn't be any happier with their product. It was the upgrade I was looking for with the adjustment that made them acceptable on the street.
A lot of the guys on the board love their Koni/GC. Its a matter of choice, I feel as if I got a better "package" than the yellows with the add-on coilover. The PIC is another excellent choice and has great customer service, Skunk also has customer service that goes above and beyond. I spoke with Tony S a few times on the phone about their product before making my final choice.
I dislike the fact that because Koni is a good choice some believe it is the only choice. Yes there is a lot of junk out there too. I would rule out the D2 and Ksport out immediately, FF I believe would meet your needs for low and comfortable use but may fall short in the competition area. This leaves the other 3 choices and which I believe all falls down to preference as all 3 are great products.

From: if she celabite then we'll buy a bit, OK
glad i found this thread before i posted another just like it. im also looking into upgrading to coilovers on my DA.
I always say, do it once do it right. I'd suggest buying an adjustable coilover setup. You also want one that is height adjustable as well as dampening adjustable. You can begin with mild spring rates since they are upgradable. By the time you reach the skill to adjust the damper 36-ways you'll have a very precise decision when choosing your next spring rate. With a coilover like PIC select I think the price and quality, "word of mouth," appear to be the best bang for the money.
Looks like Koni/GC and PIC Selects are the highest chosen.. I personally am stuck between both of those setups for my soon to come suspention upgrade, I believe im going with GC/Koni though because of the vast range of people using them and hardly any of those people have 1 bad thing to say. PIC is about the same comments from people as well, so it makes it really hard. Its all about whats cheaper in the long run when you're choosing between 2 very proven setups, which would be the Koni/GC by $180

I wouldn't trust a coilover built on such a small perch w/ out welds. But you cannot do this with a gas/charged shock.

So, I'd say, for cost effectiveness + efficiency over a span of years to come = PIC
No1 ever plays with T1R? Well, a lil off topic but I was going a curvy ramp onto the freeway (10 EAST), and my friend was in the back of me driving his 99 prelude with stock suspension, well I stepped on it and took those turns and to my surprise, HE WAS RIGHT ON MY A*S. I couldn't lose him!! I was SOO suprise how could this be possible? I was losing a bit of traction and he was just... normal!! He said h e heard my tires losing it. well my setup is em1 with T1R full coilovers, ASR with ITR sway etc. So, I'm guessing TOO stiff is BAD?
Well back to the original topic, I vote koni/GC (had it before) . I accidentally click on k-sport so disregard that.
