Default 06 Civic EX, fresh off the lot, one question..

The engine's vibration shakes the chassis at a pretty violent rate, but only when idle...is this a common problem with these? It only has 34k miles, so I figure the mounts would be fine....

PS: I hate the gearbox in these. I want my 95 tranny back.

Thanks for any input!

i have an 07 with 34k and i notice very minimal vibrations at idle. is it enough vibration that you think a motor mount might be bad?

Thanks for the lead dtapia.

It's pretty bad, enough to shake my windows and rear view, the most vibration comes from the pedals though, it visually shakes my leg o.O

Fresh off the lot? The used car lot? Or three years ago?

It's a process where you are to loosen all the motor mounts and reset them to a netural position. The procedures are in the factory service manual
