Question: Will JDM coilovers fit on a 2008 Civic EX, USDM? And are the JDM and USDM FA/FG completely the same suspension fitment?

The reason I am asking is that my friend is going to Japan and I'd like him to pick me up a set of coilovers there for a show car. Looking for something like Powered By Max or something of the sort. And its simply for a show car, so I just need to know what my options are as far as fitment goes.

yes, its the same suspension

i think u should read up on what coilovers are available first. if its a "show" car, and an ex, why not just buy d2's or ksports. they go low, or even pro-s's.

The car is going to be a show car that's sponsored, so we have some coin to play with. So we're thikning of blinging out the suspension with soemthing unique. I havent' seen a lot of suspensions outside of the typical Taiwanese ones (Ksport, AMR Engineering, D2, etc). Are there any JDM ones that I am not aware of?

 

other brands i know of off the top of my head:
bc, tein, skunk2, t1r, h&r, function and form, megan, jic, redshift/koni, and i think endless or zeal has a set.

most companies have a few different sets to choose from. and yes fg/fa are interchangeable but specs would be different

haha it's ok . i thought they were the same thing at first too. not sure who came first, but i'm surprised neither one sued the other over the name thing.

but i think i did a pretty decent job of namin coils for our cars lol

 

yup. they are like 3150 i think plus tax, shipping, and handling.
so its around the 3500 range possibly.

 

i was being sarcastic . do you seriously want to spend that much money on a suspension? you can get an awesome coilover kit for under $1500 easily.
