Default h22a swap, power???

i just recently bought a 93 prelude with a blown h23 so i swapped a jdm h22 the car runs fine but it feels like it lacks power! maybe i have too high an expectation of this motor but where would there be a weak link in my set up, stock spec clutch, tuned ecu, intake, cat back exhaust. stock h23 tranny, stock axles and wheels.

it just feels kinda sluggish for what it is, i will have 1/8 mile times next month but if anyone can tell me what they think of some advise would be great, im lookin to get into high 9's on the 1/8th

Its most likely the H23 trans. 2nd gear is too long for acceleration. Best bet is H22 trans

ive got the M2b4 tranny, doesnt seem slow to me....

mines in a del sol though
get a different transmission, anything that comes off an H22 is better than what your running right now.

M2B4 IS an H22 tranny. The H23 is an M2S4. Ive had both transmissions in my hatch. I prefer the H22 trans over the H23.
