Help please!! rear suspension question
I am trying to install coilovers on my 92 hatch and have run into a problem. The head of the bolt on the right rear shock which holds it to the lower contol arm is extremely rusted and worn and i am unable to take it out. My question is, if i remove the whole lower control arm with shock to get the springs in, will it extremely throw off my alignment. the reason i ask is because i did once to my 98 prelude and there was an eccentric nut which aligned the suspension. will i have any alignment issues if i remove the whole rear control arm and shock together?
Yes you will. its your only choice and you should have you car re aligned anyways . It is best to replace all your bolts and arms if you have the cash and time otherwise cut out the bolt and replace a small piece of metal over and drill it out....
