Default poor man type r or lsvtec need help???lost??

i wanted to know witch is better bc i know that the poor man type r is the gsr block with a b 16 head an type r internals but what if you put type r internals in a lsvtec would it almost be the same.. i want to push atleast like 250hp to the wheels all motor or close to that then maybe ill boost it but that wont be till way later some help would be nice thanks

Lol, 250 whp out of a 1.8L all motor. I hope you've got a nice big check book. I've seen two members on here do it: natural aspirations, and humble performance. Search builds from those guys.

250whp is going to be hard on a 1.8. But if you go b20/vtec you have a better chance of making over 200.

Pick one or the other, N/A or FI. Don't think you can build a 250 hp 1.8L screamer and then just put a turbo on it.

what would be the highest i can get all motor? i want to boost but its to much i would rather buy a h22block and work on that while a good motor..

250whp??? Sounds kind of low, you'll never get to 88mph with that

Dude i'm building a B20/VTEC and i hope i break 210whp....if you're looking for 250hp go turbo or be prepare to spend 8k to build it right!

I thought you wanted to build a ls-v or poor mans type r? you seem very confused. I would suggest extensive amounts of research and reading up on different builds. Turbo will be much easier to achieve your goal and be a hell of a lot cheaper than a fully built B or H series.
