Default valve-to-valve click

b16 head, first and foremost.

The springs and retainers are already in place, but should I remove them all and put helper springs in for checking valve to valve click? it just seems like a lot of load to be putting on the cam gears trying to turn them over, not to mention the rest of the bits and pieces. Thanks for any help.

Easier to do with checking springs. Not a must, be much easier. If you dont have checking springs, just use inner.
