Default Thoughts on D2 Suspension?

So I have heard nothing but good things about D2 suspensions.

Is anyone on here lowered on a D2 suspension setup? Any thoughts on them?

I am open to other ideas, I am not going to be auto-x'ing or anything with them, just want something that is going to give a nice drop and good handling for spirited driving around town and in the mountains on occasion.

Thanks.

I have had D2s on my 4th gen for years now and I am very happy with them. Of course they are not very adjustable like more expensive setup, but if you pick a good spring rate from the beginning you will be very happy with them for an affordable street suspension.

They are easy to install and lightweight, but the adjustments do almost nothing and they won't 'slam' the front of a Prelude if that's what you're looking for.

Sounds like a good option for what you want

Thanks for the quick reply. Good to hear you like your D2's. So the advertised 32-way adjustability doesn't really do much? I'm not really looking to skimp on price, but I also don't really wanna drop K's on a setup. Also, I don't really wanna be "dumped" for the mere fact that you start to lose handling the lower you go (or so I have heard). I would like to just give the car a nice aggresive stance removing some of the ugly wheel gap.

Would a better setup be the infamous Koni Yellow + Ground Control's (Custom Spring Rate)?

Heh, well I can tell you I know NOTHING about suspension setups. I don't know much about how they work or which company is best.

I just hear a lot about Koni and GC on here. Not that the sheep on here always pick correctly... but its just what I hear.

Thanks again.

How do you think these would compare to the D2s? They seem pretty similar except no damping adjustment.

Havent really heard of that company before. I know D2 has a whole race team behind their company. I also thought the dampening control would be nice to have... kinda like the Teins.
