00 si when i turn the steering wheel should my upper control arm move? When i hit bumps.. idk it just sounds like something is loose. Also when im one my brakes it sounds like someone having sex on a old mattress.

 

If you jack the car up and wiggle the knuckle, does the balljoint have alot of play? sounds to me like you have a bad balljoint.

You replace them lol. If you want oem balljoints I think you have to buy the entire UCA from honda (thats what i had to do on my prelude). Or you could have the old balljoint pressed out and just buy the bolt in ones like moog or anything like that.

 

the UCA should not move, that ball joint isnt supposed to have any play, jack the car up grab the knuckle and push and pull see if theres play

 

well i have skunk2 UCA i tighten the outside bolts down that go true the bushing already once and it stopped the noise for about 2 weeks then it came back.. just thought it came loose but went to tighten then again..still tight as hell. i dont think there was i just checked it today,

 

Did you check the rear bolts on the camber kit.

 

yeah i think thats what i was talking about in my last reply?? Idk? are we talking about the 2 bolts that hold the camber kit to the body? is so yeah there tight.

 

No I meant the 4 that hold the ball joint to the arm, make sure all of them are tight.

hope u got the new improved skunk 2 uca's and not the old version.

to check for ball joints hold tire at 12 and 6 and try to move back and forth.
