Default Suspension Problems

Ok so I fixed my rack and pinion with a new bushing and what not. But this hasnt fixed my steering at all. If I hit the littlest bump or imperfection on the road my car will violently sway. And my tires also make loud screeching sounds. The tires also get eaten up in like a month.

Keep in mind I has an ls front disk conversion that came with the car. I dont know what it could be though, axels, ball joints. but Im scared to drive my car.

Thanks.

I dont think this violent steering can be from alignment alone.

it depends on how bad your alignment is out. Ive heard of weirder things than this with bad alignment.

your outer tie rod ends could be loose or wore out. and I would deffently get the alignment checked. as far as the roaring goes your wheel bearing could be going out.

Get an alignment. If they find the problem, get the parts and fix it.

deff start with an alignment first. make sure your sway bars hooked up right, and that nothing is loose suspension wise. if you have an aftermarket camber kit make sure the bolts are tight as well. also check your wheel bearings.

Its more of a tire schreeching noise, but constantly. I mean like people would think I was driving crazy.

That could be your toe, camber, or even your caster.
I would deff. get an alignment just to make sure. If its not your alignment (which it most likely is) then that just gets that off the list. Then you can look into whatever the cause is.

The way i see it is like this. If you having a problem with your wheels/steering, most likely is your suspension. So alignment is number one to do first.

Squealing constantly could be a loose belt, I can't imagine tires squealing like that constantly. Are you sure it's your tires making the noise?

Yes positive. I think I can tell the difference between the two. Plus when I slow down, or stop the screeching stops too.

You are not going to like hearing this again but your toe is probably out. I had a nasty problem with my car and got an alignment done to fix the toe and it worked wonders for my car. It is really amazing how much a difference in the ride it makes when your toe is out. It's only 60-70 bucks for an alignment so start there. The screeching noise might be because your tires being out of toe are wearing something else. I would fix the toe first since its the cheapest repair and go from there.
