Hey there, My integra has a pin stripe and it feels embossed. I wanted to remove it but when I looked closer I saw that it was paint. Is this on any of your integras? Was this just done while being repainted?? I dont see the pin stripe on other integras so I assume it is not stock. I know it is lame that it is painted on and I cant get it off! What do you guys think of the pin stripe ordeal?

 

im not sure if it will work for your striping since it may or may not be older than my car but on my 01 acura mdx suv the previous owners had pin striping painted on and i used 'fine cut' rubbing compound to remove it then wax to clean it all up. i tried the 'easy off' method before this but that was just a huge mess.

 

I used a razor blade

It didn't work too well

 

A heat gun and a plastic scraper.

I thought using a 3m rubber wheel takes off pin stripes.

 

3m wheels works great.

i accidentally took off chunks of paint with the razorblade lol. it wasnt even a razor blade, just an exacto knife i happened to have.

im repainting the car anyways so i didnt care, but you shouldnt try it

 

becarful if you use this not to burn the paint...but a heat gun and some goo gone and a filler spreader
