Ticking noise from inside the car
I got a 97 prelude and i just changed the spark plugs, then i test drove the car and at like 1500 to 3000rpm it makes this ticking noise idk what it is and i dont wanna mess up my car if its bad. Any Ideas??
A loose wire on spark plugs or distributor will cause a ticking noise. Additionally, you can get this if you have bad brushes on the alternator or non-resistor type spark plugs. Typically, the radio will pick up noises like that, too. Especially if you have an aftermarket unit with a power amp. If the amp and the radio are not grounded in the same location, you can get a ground loop and a REALLY irritating ticking or buzz.
All my wires are on good i checked like fifty times lol. you think it can be the gap between the sparkplugs, because befor i put them in it was fine no noise no nothin
