Which Spark Plug/ Wires
Looking at buying some NGK wires, but not sure if I want the 10mm or the 8 mm, is there really any difference at all.
And for the spark plugs should I go with the V Power or another type of NGK
And does anyone know where too get good deals on these items

well i just have standard ngk 8mm wires and they seem to work fine and i only run ngk irdiums in my da bro they seem to have made a huge difference for me...the car came with bosh platinum 2 or w/e and they were garbage it stuttered and **** so i bought the iridiums wow big difference but they are like 8 dollars a plug but well worth it i just bought my **** at advance auto
Don't waste your money on iridium. I have always run the cheapo NGK's in all my cars with great success.
I'd stick with oem wires unless you really wanna get some aftermarket. If that's the case, NGK seem to be the best bet.

I bought some no name german spark plugs that were 10 mm and i felt a difference. But then i bought some denso 8mm plugs and they felt the same as the 10mm ones. I believe they both had a fiber glass core.

ngk plug wires. the $50ish ones that are a direct fit and some sort of ngk plug works great for most all of us who have tried different brands. i'm using a heat range 7 iridium in my car with the blue oem fit wires. most of you guys will want heat 6 for stock gsr's and what not. the only reason i have a 7 is the higher compression. 6s work but are a little too white for my tastes
NGK Stock heat range plugs will work just fine and won't cost you as much as the other Iridium plugs. Also, there's really no point to get larger diameter plug wires. The stock ignition on our cars is really good...there's no need to alter it for your goals. I would get a set of stock size or OEM replacement wires if they are necessary at all.
i had ngk, the 1.99 ones or whatever, they worked great, i also went through two sets of the $10 a piece ngk iridium lazer platnums, didn't notice any improvement, but now i got these v-powers and they are in between those two and i don't like them, my car has lost alot of midrange sincei changed plugs, i gapped them to spec to for my gs-r, .052
The difference in spark plugs is going to be so small that you really aren't going to notice any real changes...you may think it is better, but it's probably wishful thinking. Go with OEM wires and NGK plugs...put the money you saved toward a tank of gas
just go with the v-power ngk. they work the same as the irridium. why pay more for something that gets the job done. bosch platniums are shitty though. i have'nt felt a difference switching from v-power to irridium. next time i change spark plugs, i'll just go with the v-power.
I have Accord LX with 2.2 16 valve basic engine. Just put in Denso double Platinum that I got on sale at Autozone. Car runs terrible when warming up then sorta terrible after its warm! Don't think it has a large enough spark due to tiny electrode to ignite the gas. Going back to standard NGK ZFR5F-11 Any comments welcome!
