help swapping 92si -h22a
Last monthe my h23 blew up so i ordered a h22a swap from h-motors( very happy with it)
.I am just unsure of a few things first off they say i will need to use my wire harness (i ordered the v-tec sub harness already) how does this work do hey all match up to the h22 except for the vtec ones? also my fule line wont reach what/where do i get one to fit?
also is there anything else i should know?
or can you point me to a walk through of this swap
thanks in advance

5+ years ago I had the same exact situation as you. 1992 Si, H23 rod went, gotta H22A longblock and kept my H23 transmission. Hopefully this info below helps, I'm pulling it from the back of my mind about what I did:
(1) The stock harness will work as long as it's OBD1 and the ECU/Engine is too. Just plug the ECU right in, but you still need to rewire for VTEC.
(2) As for the fuel line. Since it came from a RHD it will be reversed, so I just swapped my stock USDM rail so that the line would reach it. I didn't use the H23 injectors though. It was simple.

make sure you use a proper ECU, not your factory H23 one. swap the fuel line, keep the H22 injectors.
I did have to run a new wire and pin it into my harness where it plugs into the ECU so Vtec would work. Actually, I think I had to do two different wires.
Instead of rewiring for the distributor to work, I swapped my H23 distributor on and made my H23 coil bracket work (had to move it and make bends in it, but it works).
Before you put the motor in (which you may have already done) it is a good idea to swap the timing belt and water pump. While your at it you can even do the manual tensioner swap for that extra bit of assurance. Might as well get rid of your balance shafts or at least disconnect the belt while your at it as well. Also if the motor is out, I would put on a Hondata (or other brand) intake manifold spacer/heat reducer thing. That will be much much easier to do with the motor in front of you (swap out the small studs for bigger ones so it will bolt up easily).

ok thanks for the help, but is there a different oprtion for the fuel line?
and I got the sub harness made by rywire so can i just leave the h22 distributor on and use my stock harnesss or do i have to put on the h23 distributor even though i got this sub harness that wires in vtec and im not sure what else
