Hey guys, I need your help again! I have a b18c1 in my civic, it has a dc 4-1 header which is 2.25, and a tanabe racing medallion cat-back which, I believe is
2 3/8. My question is which size car-sound would be better, the 2.25 or the 2.5? If I get the 2.25 would it fit flush against the exhaust even though the exhasut piping is a little bit bigger? If I get the 2.5 would it too be flush with the exhaust?

I would go with 2.5 because I think the cat can be a very restricting part of the exhaust.

 

u may wish to double check me..the calif. smog laws require the in pipe be the same size of the collector pipe so..that ll mean the cat. needs to be the 2 1/4

 

doh I forgot about california smog laws, **** around here cops dont even know what emissions are

 

would the 2.25 cat fit against the 2.37 exhaust piping?

 

they ve got a tool that can stretch the opening of the pipe..then slide and weld the one right inside..nite, neat and tight
