07+ MDX Brake upgrade?
Anyone know where to get rotors and pads for the MDX? I can find satisfied ceramics from tire rack, but they don't have any rotors. Already had my fronts turned at 22k and the pads replaced under warranty and now at 36k they're warped again according to the dealer. I'll probably just buy new oem rotors and pads and do them myself, unless I can find some good replacements.
I wouldn't go back with the wimpy stock rotors. They do have the tendency to warp as often as every 10K on some vehicles.
With that said, when I was looking at rotors and brakes for my brothers 04 mdx, most recomended Akebono ProAct Ceramic Pads, and the 50 dollar Brembo rotors. I don't know what he ended up going with . His MDX was under warranty, brakes were not, although the first time they did it on good faith, it failed within a few thousand miles, but he hasn't had a problem yet after getting non-oem rotors..
Can't find anything online for 07+ MDX though. You may have to check local parts store to see if they carry it, or you may be stuck with OEM until someone comes out with one...

Most instances of "warped rotors" are simply uneven deposits of brake pad material.
Do a proper bedding procedure with new pads, as that will generally cure "warped rotors", as it scrubs off the old layer and lays a fresh even layer down.
