Default Honda Challange- Buttonwillow

Well, its Buttonwillow for the third round of the Honda Challenge!

Seems like most of us had a lot of issues.... Maybe just a gremlin weekend.

Didn't have much of a chance to test our latest "anti-Benny" mods, but we got a little time with the car. Terrible qualifying effort, because I am really rusty and only had three days in the car. Or maybe I just suck!

The race was a blast!!! The first 3 laps seems to have everyone pushing pretty hard. Most corners 2-3 wide action! Great battles for me with Ben Tang after a serious battle with Joe Landry only to drop a valve and make my life much easier. Then later I would retire with a non-cooperative distributor.

Really impressed with those dang H4 guys! Hats off to Terry Rossi, and Ben Tang!

Please tell me someone has video from Saturday's race!!!! My camera didn't work out.

Most impressed with Benny, you got a connection for everything! Thanks for the windshield hook up. I would have been out for sure! Hope your car gets sorted. Great driving!

So what happened on Sunday?

John was way fast! Nice guy too. He finished second on Sunday? I think it was Terry Rossi 1st and Ben Tang 2nd on Saturday. Not sure...

John's has had his number of gremlins over the past few months, but he's still doing great. He took 2nd for Sunday.

Ben Tang's doing quite well for his 1st year correct?

Thanks! Check your email for the pics I sent.
The car was pretty good,I still need to have you take her for a lap. Friday was so crowded with traffic my practice was more just making sure my electrical issue was fixed and it was,and I never got to get a good pace to get a feel for the track and car.Saturday I was getting used to the track and got to follow a few cars and that picked up my speed. Then Sunday Qualy I had shaved 3 seconds from my best lap saturday, man I was a whole new guy.I was getting comfortable with the track,I realized I had speed and could battle, lol. So I put the pressure on kiwi and drove as fast as I could...what a weekend.I still can't believe I am racing Honda Challenge, the clean side by side racing makes for great friendships as well, this is awesome. Nice recovery of a possible no-show Renan.

To Reyes - Thanks for those nice pics.

No love for my Buddy Club machine..

I think I have to remove some stickers, maybe "uy club" or "Benny Club"

Love all the "three wheel motion"!!!! Renan, I think that is practically a "stoppey"

Anyone have video from Sat.? Please-o Please-o....

Yo! I got peeps! The rear sway bar seemed to be a step in the right direction. Now if we can only have a little track time.

Renan, I don't come by late night! When I came by on Sat. I was c*ck blocked by your girl. She said you were napping with your "bankie". Later she said you woke up after you wet the bed, then started whinning about how Benny was on pole and not you.

WAR BANKIE RACERS!
