Icon2 What do you think?

Looking at buying this Civic. Will be my first Honda and i dont know a whole lot about them. I have seen threads in many car forums where experienced guys can pic apart cars based on pics and the like.. Just wondering what you guys think of this...

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1100076442.html

Says the b16a is out of a 91 honda integra. He got the whole front clip at a wrecker so thats how he knows the KM.

It is about a 4 hour one way trip by car and ferry away from me so i wana be pretty sure im gonna buy it if i go.

Thanks for any advise you can give

$4800! cad are you nuts!?

you should be able to get a 96-00 chassis in good/great condition with a b16 or better swap in it for that kinda money.

example (in my area): for $4300

Honestly, I prefer the 1988 to 1991 look over the newer ones. Price is OBO though. Will have to see what he says if i go look.

Yea thats why i posted this thread. Im not sure what to look for in the swap. I wouldn't be able to tell if it was done right. I asume Honda would know how to do it. It was done at a Honda dealership.

Theres basically nothing in my town to buy. They are all a ferry ride away Its hard picking the right one when you cant just go look at them easily. I was going to buy a 96 Z28 but decided i wanted something small, good on gas and most of all reliable! heh .. But also something fun to drive!

Buy a shell and build my own? I would have to pay labor as i doubt i could do the swap.. Most i can do is change my oil :D
