Default ok tranny help please!!!!!!

car was running just fine. next thing u lknow wont shift into 4th gear. 5th gear worked for a mile or so. now car wont go into any gear unless motor is shut off. any guesses as to why this is? its a b18b motor and a jdm b16 tranny. its of course a cable clutch. is it poss that something like inside the tranny came apart?

No idea for sure - just throwing it out there -
If your clutch is good and your cable is adjusted right, then possible blown diff?

only one thing you can do really if all exterior functions are ok,
drop the trans and inspect the flywheel ,clutch, bearing ect...
if you dont find anythign wrong then get a new trans or have yours built

You may have gotten the wrong clutch for your transmission. The splines are different on some of the B-series transmissions. What happened to you sounds exactly like what happened to me. I bet when you take the clutch off, the splines on it are chewed up.

You mentioned it was nonadjustable, just making sure we're on the same wavelength.

When it was broke it wasnt adjustable being that it was broke, now it is though that it is fixed.
