Default my new $800 crx

thats right. I just picked up this 88 CRX si for 800 bucks. the guy was joining the military and needed it gone. Bought it and limped it to my house, as it needed a new passenger side cv axle, alternator, and passenger side motor/trans mount, fixed it all in a day, and now i have an si that I paid 800 bucks for. im super excited. Now i just need to get rid of those fugly "racing" mirrors. Lowered on omni power drop springs and tokico blue struts. has f & r strut tower bars. DC header. Interior is pretty clean, drivers side seat has a tear.

What I have done so far

-New alternator
-New passenger side alternator
-trans/motor mount

so basically just preventative maintenance so far.

I will keep all of you updated on the progress of this car. Here is a list of what my plans are, as of right now.

Plans
-Stock mirrors
-Real harnesses with a harness bar
-GSR Blades or LS webs
-Skunk2 coilovers
-Polyurethane bushings
-LCA's
-Seats (either S2K leathers or buckets)
-Motor swap (Possibly just a head swap for something vtec + all the ghey wiring, possibly B16 although i have more research to do to figure out what the best and easiest swaps are for this car)

and the list goes on. I'm sure I will be adding stuff here and there but yeah thats a basic overview of what I want to do to this car at this time.

No don't!
build threads are becoming more frequent and less interesting.

Props on the car though looks like you got a killer deal.

yea i dont know what he was thinking. it has those ugly mirrors and "racing harnesses" that came straight from ebay. and they are bolted to the floor of the car. So pending they actually do prevent me from flying out the windshield, which they probably wont, chances are my back is going to be effed. So i have a bit of de-rice to do before i make it sweet. haha

There is a place for build threads too, and it isn't here.
