I am really cheap, I know they are probably crap and "will make my car ride like crap" but I dont have the money for a real set of struts/springs.

its either these or I cut the stockers. which do you think would be better?

*edit* they are on, if you want to see pictures go here- https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-acura-28/just-lowered-95-accord-ex-take-look-2569339/

Those would be better than cutting the stock springs. But in either case, you will have to replace the OEM struts in a short time. Just get a decent brand of lowering springs or Ground Controls.

yes mc I am for real,I really do like the looks of lowered accords but I dont have the money for a $200-$300 set of springs. flame me some more but I'm probably gonna buy an ebay header too, but no for your information I do not believe in the the 10-15hp increase.

OP, the cheapest route you can go is to buy some used springs and run them with your stock shocks. Just make sure to buy springs that drop no more than 2inchs and you'll be fine for a few months. Keep in mind you'll need a 4 wheel alignment after you put the new springs on.

I wouldn't touch those with a ten foot pole. That's a horrible idea.

Just stay stock, youll regret the decision. I bought my coilovers, KYB shocks and lca's for $110 shipped, which is what that'll run you after you break off your LCA bolts and have a shop take them off

Better to buy a USED reputable brand than getting no name cheapy parts man. I understand you dont have much funds, but seriously, you can either learn the hard way or learn from everyone elses mistakes. Save yourself money from having to fix and redo things again.

Exactly!

You say you don't have the money, well what's going to happen when you have to replace those crap parts with either more crap,or something better that you should have bought the first time?

If you don't have the money to get at least decent parts then you should tough it out until you do have the money.

Sometime I don't trust ebay cars parts. Just be aware that it might last long. I have brought some stuff on ebay before and it broke. I know you probably don't have the money but i lost my job and feel so ghetto and i still cannot afford to buy good product sometimes. Save money more and buy something better. It up to you now.

Would you buy and replace your factory seatbelts with a set of cheep ebay seatbelts knowing they are made from inferior materials just because you like the look of them? NEVER safety just because you are cheep, just wait until you can afford the proper springs and struts and don't risk your/passenger/other driver's on the road's safety.

well me not being completely stupid, will buy them so I can get a closer look at them and see how shitty they may or may not be. I know I was complaining about not having money but my friend told me he will buy them off me for what I payed for them if I don't wanna put them on my car. I also dont plan on lowering past 2 inches but I may put them all the way down to see what it looks like.

If you're going to do all that just cut your stock springs, itll be better than that crap... A few people i know run ebay coilovers though without issues, but it rides like instead of shocks installed they have 2x4's wedged in place.
