Default Seatbelt guru's unite! ha i need a little help;..

sup guys, i posted this in the misc thread and go 0 replies after a week, so many one of my fellow integra brethren might be able to help me.

Ok so i have had a change of mind and decided to put all my interior, factory seats and belts back into my integra, currently i have some tenzo seats and sparco 4 point belts, so i'm getting ready to go outside and do this and when i find my seatbelts, they have retracted in very far...

when i attempted to pull them out they are latching internally and will not release, first though i search for a pin hole or release/override button or lever, and there is none, ALL the belts are locked, even a friend gave me a set of brown ones out of his integra and they are locked as well, how do i release the belts? the seatbelt "box" says do not open/remove, surely i have not allowed my seatbelts to become useless have i?

bolt them in and when they are in the right posioion they will release. they are designed to not let go in a rollover or whatever.

wow i hope your right! i will try it this evening, i even tried to hold them in my hand in the upright position to see if there was a weighted mechanism involved not allowing the releasing of the latch..
