trying to find out if an b18a1 head will work on b16 block?????

I Highly Highly Highly doubt that... as b16 block is a vtec block and the b18a head is a non vtec head... I doubt it so much im gonna go with NO on this one.

the oil passage are different which is why it wont work

its posible lol its just like makeing a lsvtec motor except u plug the oil feed on the block just like u plug it on the head lol i did it made 156hp on dyno head was ported and had s2 cams 2 layer head gasket also p30 pistons lol kida funny tho lol sounds odd tho lol not like eney motor i have heard b4 lol run it as a shop car lol good for boost motor will be boosted in a few mounths lol depends on whats laying around the shop lol other then that its not bad saves on gas tho works find motor has been runing for 2 years now lol

i assume a b16 along with the water pump. ls would be too long.

correct lol match the water pump with the timeing belt thats the key

lol o we sprayed the motor with some left over spray from a our track car lol that little bugger moves lmao

motors like a dohc zc but with lots more torq and rpm lol more relaiable and cheaper to buy and find parts for lol so its a better swap compaired to a zc swap and u can even over bore the block to get even more torq

[Hey I'm doing the b18a1 to b16 head thing I'm just wondering what to do about the oil cooler on the b16 block do I just block the passages or can it be removed or ?
