im on ebay since i cant find them anywhere else looking for vent shades for my ef sedan. of course everythings harder to find for the sedan but i came across these and ive heard some poeple buying visors off ebay and not fitting right, the description dose say jdm vent shades for 89-91 but who knows. do these look right?

 

If that's an actual picture, it say the ones for the front windows aren't angled enough.

I'd be willing to bet they have more then one lot in stock. Looks like a universal picture so the actual thing could be hit and miss.

Hmm, last i checked they had them, but i can't find them now. Perhaps they're out of stock at the moment. They were really expensive there though, so if you wait, be prepared to pay a couple of hundred $.

 

Usually they sell the vent shades for a wide range of vehicles so the picture may not necessarily be for your car. Its just an example of the shades.

 

just get them. my sedan has them and your not loosing out on any money, they fit pretty nicely but of course its aftermarket. They are off just a tad bit, but not noticeable! unless you have 200 dollars for jdm visors, which i highly doubt you will find, i would just get these.

jdm visors are just as rare as the oem hood bra that you want. unless you have money, you wont find it. i spent 150 for my hoodbra and it was used

 

What I want to know is, how do I get visors for a 91 hatch? Looking on eBay, they all say 88 89 90 91, but we all know the window size is different between 88/89 and 90/91.

 

ive had my vent shades on my sedan for 3 years now.its 3m tape and still on there after a couple 100mph runs

AFAIK the ones Honda sold clip into the window track somehow.
Aftermarkets are typically just taped on.
Not a big deal.. just clean the area to be taped to very well before install.

 

oh yeah duh, ill check that out. and ive seen nice oem honda ones before but ill never find them

 

some guys come up on rare stuff for dirt cheap, but the hood bra is just up to the seller. they are hard to get no doubt. GL on finding one. and tell us how the visors come out to be, or you can check out my build thread on my signature and check it out.


and as for the oem visors, they are specifically made for each model car. The crx jdm visors i used to own were specifically for the 88-90 model crx with pillar mounted seat belts(only jdm crx came with pillar mounted seatbelts)

they have special clips that mount to the outer trim of the door with double sided tape for extra assurance

 

i got the bra/bumper mask for 50 bucks on craigslist. almost new.

i wouldnt want to spend the 260 for oem visors when the 40bucks visors work the same. yea its a tad bit different, but it severs the same damn purpose right?
