CRX HF Engine Harness on B16A?
I searched for this and although it seems simple, I couldn't find the answer.
I got a first gen B16 (sir, odb0) that I'm about to swap into my 89 CRX Si.
Problem is I don't have an engine harness!
One guy on HT might sell me his HF engine harness. Will that plug and play into my B16 engine (since they're both ODB0)? Or are there any specific modifications I'd need to do to the harness in order for it to work?
Anyone got a diagram of an 89 CRX Si engine harness?

If you look in the FAQ section there is a dpfi to mpfi thread on 'how to' do this conversion. I have a hf engine harness if you want to buy, but Id suggest getting a real (si) harness and it will be easier than doing the conversion. Only thing you would have to do is get a pr4 ecu and wire up the vtec.
Okay so i need ti convert to mpfi and add vtec wiring. I have a p30 ecu that came with the b16 so that should work right? Is there anything else I need to do?

If its a obd0 swap everything should plug into that si engine harness with no problems. Stock p06 ecu is not made for vtec so get a pr4 ecu and wire up the vtec wires from the interior harness to the vtec solenoid. Anybody else chime in on this and correct me if I messed up.
since your car is an si already you don't have to do the dpfi conversion. You should be able to use the hf harness, all you have to do its add 3 wires, 1 for vtec, and 2 for the knock sensor. And if I remeber correctly a pr4 is a ls ecu, you need a pr3 or pwo obd0 ecu. but the hf harness should plug in with no prob
the HF engine harness will not work in the Si car - the wires at the driver's side connector are in different locations, and the biggest problem is that the igniter wire from the distributor goes thru the driver's side connector on the HF, but goes thru the passenger side connector on the Si

the Si is already MPFI - the P30 ECU is OBD1 which will not work with the OBD0 engine - you need a PR3 or PW0 ECU - or, you could convert the car to run OBD1 by getting an OBD1 distributor and OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumper harness and then use the P30
